Target Black Friday hours 2024: What to know before you go to the store

Target is gearing up for a major Black Friday sale on Friday, Nov. 29.
The chain’s in-store Black Friday deals begin on Friday, instead of Thanksgiving Day, like many other stores, including Walmart. This will be the chain’s fifth year of closing on Thanksgiving so staff can celebrate with family and friends.
Now, Target offers early deals since the beginning of November so people can tackle their holiday shopping lists sooner. Then, its official Black Friday deals are set to start on Sunday, Nov. 24 and run through Friday.
Once the stores reopen on Friday, shoppers can take advantage of last-minute Black Friday discounts on items storewide, from furniture and small kitchen appliances to apparel and holiday decorations.

Shoppers will be able to head to Target early on Black Friday this year.
Target stores will be open with extended hours this Friday, Nov. 29, to offer more time to shop, similar to last year. Most locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
However, store hours vary by location so you should ultimately check with you local Target to confirm its operating hours.
