Conn Pan American Vintage Alto Saxophone, Made in USA, Serviced & Ready
This is a nice used alto saxophone. It has been serviced, sanitized, sounds beautiful and is ready for a new home. Made in the USA in about 1950, has a nice soft case and a mouthpiece as well.
We have serviced the saxophone in our shop. The saxophone was dismantled, it was thoroughly hand cleaned and all of the parts have been inspected including all keys, pads, springs, rods, cork etc.,  then ALL of the cork was replaced with new cork which includes the silencer cork and the neck cork. 4 pads were replaced with new pads, and all of the pads have been treated with leather conditions to keep them soft and supple for a long time to come. The saxophone was then reassembled and then all of the keys were aligned and adjusted. All parts were lubricated and then the saxophone was play tested and adjusted until it was playing excellent. This is now a very nice playing beautiful sounding saxophone. BUT it is not meant for a beginner.
The saxophone has plenty of scratches/scrapes as well as some dents/dings, and lacquer loss, so it shows that it has been well used for many years.
Comes with an Allora soft case that is in good condition and a good/fair condition Selmer mouthpiece, a good condition metal ligature and plastic mouthpiece cap, a nice padded neck strap, a brand new 2.5 Vandoren reed, a mouthpiece patch-teethguard for the mouthpiece, cork grease and key oil.

instruments unless the instrument is stated 'for parts or repair' in the listing.
Also, please be aware that jarring during shipment can cause these used instruments to need some additional
adjustments after they are delivered. This is no ones' fault but please realize before you purchase this instrument
that it may need a servicing once it arrives. This is not common, but can happen.
We DO accept returns if your purchased instrument is not as we have described it. But we do not give out partial refunds
to pay for any additional work or servicing your item may need once it is delivered.
