Hornworm Chow Mold/Bacteria Resistant Food • 1/2 Pound

Big and green, this is what this formula is all about.   Fortified with calcium, vitamins and minerals your hornworms will not need any additional nutrients for your pets.  This chow has very strong resistance to mold/bacteria, so you can rest assured your hornworms will be happy and healthy.
Mix Ratio
1 part chow and 3.5 parts water.   For example: 1 ounce of powder would need 3.5 ounces of water.  Adjust cooking of mix accordingly, but the key is to heat the mix to boil to activate the agar gel.
Instructions
1. Mix 1/2 pound of hornworm dry formula with 4 cups of cold water and stir until no lumps.
2. In a large bowl, microwave until mix boils for around 3-5 seconds (watch closely), then stir it one last time.   If you are using a stove-top, heat with constant stirring until it boils.
3. You can then pour chow into any container or habitat cup and let it cool.  It will be firm to the touch.   Pro tip: Tamp down the container to release any bubbles while chow is still hot.
4. Keep the cooked chow covered in a refrigerator until you are ready to use it. The food will remain good for a month.
