Description
Eddy Arnold was an icon of country music, with a career spanning sixty years, He sold 85 million records and became a member of the Grand Old Opry in 1943. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966. I am offering a very early and rare poster from a concert at a high school auditorium in Florida in 1945. This was the year his career really took off, with a song titled "Each Minute Seems Like A Million Years", which reached No. 5 on the country charts. This concert poster is exceedingly rare and possibly unique. It refers to him as a star of the Grand Old Opry and shows him holding his guitar with his name engraved on it. The poster is oversize, measuring 22" by 28"
