Two Plated Referee Whistles from the 1940s

two plated whistles....from the 1940s.....the plating looks like nickel
.....the material may be brass...they feel heavy.....for certain they are NON magnetic... the back of one whistle is stamped by the Spaulding Co......in my possession from the 1940s
