    This listing is for a Vintage British Metal Whistle made in England. This is marked "The Metropolitan". It measures about 3 1/8" from bottom to top of attached O ring. Apparently this is the type of whistle that a Bobby or Police Officer would have used. This is a silver colored metal, I am not sure of the type of metal. A 13" chain is included. It does not have a clasp and is looped through the O ring, it slips over your head.
    The whistle is tarnished with natural age and patina, it needs a little clean and polish. There is some wear on the top O ring edge where the chain has rubbed. I do not see any obvious condition issues, but do keep in mind that this piece is not new and has been previously used. I acquired this from my private local client and collector of many unique and obscure items. This DOES work.
